Letter from the Editors-in-Chief

To the Reader:
We started the Cambridge Journal of Political Affairs in January to make the world of academia more inclusive and accessible to undergraduates. Since then we have grown to a team of 50 undergraduates. Despite the global pandemic, our team has undergone peer-review training with the Cambridge Review of International Affairs and gained a glimpse into the world of academic publishing. We hope that CJPA is a project that will continue to grow at the University in years to come, building an academic community of editors, authors, and readers.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit to our first issue; we have received incredibly interesting work, and the selection process has been very difficult. We are thrilled to be giving this work a platform over the coming months.
As our first Editorial Board gets to work on the peer-review process over these coming months, we want to continue making CJPA a space where you can engage with politics and academia. We will be using this space to publish some of the stellar articles we’ve received, reviews and recommendations from our bright editors, and interviews with academics we admire. If there’s something you’d like to contribute, we want to hear from you! And we hope you’ll enjoy hearing from us.
Yours,
Emil and Rosa
